DAY 01 : ARRIVAL MEDAN – BERASTAGI

Welcome to Medan , the 3rd biggest city in Indonesia as well as capital city of North Sumatra Province, upon arrival atairport first clear immigration followed by the custom fomalities meeting by our guide, then proceed the drive to Berastagi, a highland resort with its refreshing weather and magnificent mountain scenery, through some part of the lush tropical rain forest of Sumatera. Reaching Berastagi, visit Peceran – a village with a number of traditional houses that are still being used. Then visit the fruit market of Berastagi, taste fresh fruit taken from garden such as orange, passion fruit and many others. Check in at hotel for overnight , the rest is free at own leisure.

DAY 02 : BERASTAGI – PARAPAT- SAMOSIR ISLE (B)

After After breakfast at hotel, leaving for Parapat – a lake resort area located on the east shore of the famous Lake Toba. En route , stop at Tongging viewpoint, where you will see the breathtaking view of Lake Toba and the slender Sipiso-piso Waterfall dropping into the northern tip shore of Lake Toba from hundred meter heights. Afterward proceed to visit the ancient King’s Palace or ‘long house” of Simalungun at Pematang Purba. Proceed to Parapat through the fertile vegetable and fruit farms, pine tree forests and spectacular view of Lake Toba along most part of the journey. Arrival in Parapat, direct on board of the traditional boat leaving for Samosir – a huge island in the middle of Lake Toba, upon arrival check in hotel for overnight. The rest is free at own leisure.

DAY 03 : SAMOSIR ISLE TOUR (B)

After breakfast start excursion tour on Samosir Island cruising to Tomok village for visiting the old Tomb of King Sidabutar located amidst surrounding Batak Toba Village. Return to boat then cruising to Ambarita a traditional village with ancient megalithic furniture , which they used as tribunal place among them. Souvenir stalls selling handycraft, wood carving etc line the way heading to the place, after reaching the village you will see a beautiful traditional village built in compound surrounded by walls. The amazing way of life of Batak people , their culture and system of strong patriatchart will be an unforgetable experience. Next visit heads to the village of Simanindo by boat for watching folkdance performance of Batak Toba people. Afternoon return to hotel for overnight. The rest is free at own leisure.

DAY 04 : SAMOSIR – PARAPAT – MEDAN – JAKARTA (B)

Breakfast at hotel. Return to Parapat by boat then depart for Medan, the capital city of North Sumatra which is about 175 km away. En route, passing by small towns, i.e: Pematang Siantar and Tebing Tinggi,and then followed by vast views of rubber, oil palm, cacao plantations and paddy terraces. Arrival in Medan, if time permits continue city tour visiting visiting Sultan Palace, Great Mosque and Kesawan area (Oldcenter of Medan), then direct transfer to the airport fro flight to Jakarta. Upon arrival you will be picked up by our guide and transfer to hotel for overnight.

DAY 05 : JAKARTA – SEMARANG – PANGKALAN BUN – TANJUNG PUTING (B,L,D)

After Breakfast at hotel, transfer to airport Jakarta for Flight to Semarang by Garuda , then take connecting flight with to Pangkalan Bun. Upon arrival at Pangkalan Bun Airport meeting service by our guide , after lunch at restaurant , then proceed to Kumai for boarding on the boat. Cruising by Klotok-boat thru the quite Sekonyer-River in the peaceful afternoon and observe the monkeys along the riverside. Dinner and overnight at Lodge or on boat

DAY 06 : TANJUNG PUTING ORANG UTAN EXPLORATION (B,L,D)

After breakfast , boarding on the klotok boat, cruising the river up and stop en route at Pondok Tanguy, the rehabilitation center for the new ex-captive orangutans. Trekking through the rain forest to see Orang Utan at morning feeding time. Then continue boating to Camp Leakey, where the older orangutans are reintroduced into the rain forest. After lunch on the boat, walking to the rehabilitation center, where you may visit the information center about Orang utan. Being accompanied by ranger you will trek through tropical rainforest searching for wildlife, wild orangutan, birds and other primate as well as tropical jungle plant. After seeing Orang Utan at afternoon feeding time, cruising back., you may have opportunity to see Orang Utans along the river. Dinner and overnight at RIMBA LOGDE or ON BOAT.

DAY 07 : TANJUNG PUNTING – PANGKALAN BUN – SEMARANG – YOGYAKARTA (B)

After very early breakfast, boating down to Kumai then transfer by car to Pangkalan Bun Airport for flight to Semarang After Arrival you will be picked up by our guide , then visit to Sam Poo Kong Temple or the Stone Building , the place where Cheng Ho landed on Java. Three religions are worshipped here, each with their own shrine; side by side: Mohammed, Confucius and Buddha. Cheng Ho is supposed to be the first person to spread Islam on Java. Proceed the drive to Yogyakarta, en route visit Ambarawa Railway museum to see historic locomotives and coaches, the glorious transportation in the old days. Overnight at hotel in Yogyakarta.

DAY 08 : YOGYAKARTA CITY TOUR & BOROBUDUR TEMPLE (B)

Breakfast at hotel. A full day city tour visiting Sultan’ palace , where Javanese culture and tradition strongly flourished. Then to the colorful bird market and Tamansari water castle, which was a recreation garden or a resting house for the Sultan and family as wall as hiding place for royal family to defend against the enemy assault. Drive to Batik workshops to see processing of making batik and Kota Gede to see the craftsmen demonstrating making their famous and beautiful silverworks. Continue visit to the best-preserved ancient monuments in the world and listed as The World Wonder Heritage, built between the end of the seventh and beginning of the eighth century A.D by by Sailandra dynasty. Borobudur was for about a century and a half the spiritual centre of Buddhism in Java, then it was lost until its rediscovery in the eighteenth century On the way back stop at Candi Mendut (Mendut Temple) is 3 kilometers eastward from Borobudur Temple. Overnight at hotel in Yogyakarta.

DAY 09 : YOGYAKARTA – SOLO – MALANG (B)

After breakfast morning departure leaving Central Java which is rich in cultural heritage crossing to East Java , land dominated by view of cultivation of many crops. En route visit to the largest and most impressive Shiva Temple Complex, called Prambanan Temple which consist of several sanctuaries of Shiva over 200 temples and shrines. The largest, the tallest one well known ‘Loro Jongrang’ Temple is covered with wonderful relief depicting the Ramayana episodes, another appealing aspect is its glorious symmetry and grace, making it the most elegant and beautiful temple in Java. Afterward stop in Solo for visiting Mangkunegaran palace and Triwindu antique/flea market Triwindu. Long journey leaving for Malang , after late afternoon arrival check in hotel for overnight.

DAY 10 : MALANG – MT. BROMO – SURABAYA (B)

Wake up midnight after a cup of tea/coffee very early morning drive heading to Tosari village, change with 4 wheel drive going up to Pananjakan the highest view point (2700m) to see the unforgettable sunrise and spectacular view of Mt. Bromo and surroundings (subject to the weather). Drive down hills passing the caldera after horse riding then climbing up to crater of Mt. Bromo though 250 steps. The panoramic view of Mt. Bromo and its vicinity is marvelous. Return to Malang, en route visiting Singasari temple located on road to Malang. Relaxingat hotel , afternoon driver heading to Surabaya check in hotel for overnight.

DAY 11 : SURABAYA – MAKASSAR – TORAJA (B,L,D)

After breakfast, transfer to airport for flight to Makassar, upon arrival meeting and greeting by guide and continue the scenic drive along the Buginese villages with their typical houses heading to Toraja. Lunch served local restaurant in Pare-Pare. En route stop on the Puncak Lakawan to enjoy the spectacular view. Late afternoon arrive in Rantepao. Overnight and dinner at hotel in Toraja.

DAY 12 : TORAJA LAND (B,L,D)

After breakfast, a full day exploring Toraja. First we will visit Lemo to see rows of Tau Tau statues and the hanging graves. Onwards to Suaya to discover the secret of the Baby Tree , Also visiting today Londa, to see an ancient grave where the deceased are entombed. At Kete Kesu one of the oldest Torajan villages we can see Tongkonan, and old rice barns, also famous for its traditional colorful woodcarving. Lunch served at local restaurant in Rantepao. Overnight and dinner at Hotel in Toraja

DAY 13 : TORAJA LAND (B)

After breakfast we set out on a trip to Batutumonga enjoying superb views over Rantepao and surrounding valleys. Ideal for a walk along the rice fields and the daily Torajan live. Lunch served at a local restaurant. Afternoon also visiting Pallawa, Sa’dan, known as the weaving center of Rantepao. Overnight and dinner at hotel in Toraja.

DAY 14 : TORAJA – MAKASSAR – BALI (B)

After breakfast return to Makassar through same road passing Pare pare. Lunch served en route at a local restaurant in Pare-Pare. Arrive in Makassar , transfer to airport for flight to Bali , upon arrival meeting and greeting by guide continue transfer to hotel in Kuta/Sanur / Nusa Dua for overnight.

DAY 15 :BALI FREE (B)

Breakfast at hotel , the day is free at own leisure. Overnigt at hotel in Kuta/Sanur/Nusa Dua.

DAY 16 : BALI FREE (B)

Breakfast at hotel , the day is free at own leisure. Overnight athotel in Kuta / Sanur / Nusa Dua.

DAY 17 : BALI DEPARTURE (B)
